Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities

  • Python Analysis, data processing, support for Actuarial team.
  • Command and drive system data into information management as requested.
  • Perform analysis based on performance metrics, tools and dashboards to identify the issues and highlight areas of improvement.
  • Ad-hoc tasks assigned.

Experience

  • Excellent mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • Python programming & R statistic
  • Mathematical and actuarial knowledge, computer and actuarial software skills, analytical
  • Problem solving and a basic business sense of financial, accounting and economics aspects of business.

SPECIALIZATION COURSE MAPS

    To enhance students’ understanding of the academic curriculum and to support effective study planning aligned with their chosen major and specialization, the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science has developed comprehensive specialization course maps for each academic department.

    These course maps clearly outline the interrelationships among specialized courses, the recommended sequence for enrollment, and prerequisite requirements. They serve as a practical tool to help students monitor their academic progress, make informed course selections, and align their studies with their individual competencies and career goals.

The workshop aims to bring both active senior researchers and young mathematicians in pure and applied mathematics and to foster an exchange of ideas between these fields. The invited speakers will present their interests, and latest results and discuss their ongoing projects. Particularly, the organizers hope the workshop can create opportunities for collaborative research among participating members. Furthermore, this conference also brings together mathematicians who have completed their Bachelor program at University of Science, Vietnam National University (Ho Chi Minh City) and then Ph.D. program at the University of Padova, Italy.

      Since its establishment, the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science has been responsible for training students in Mathematics, playing a crucial role in supplying high-quality human resources for this field. By the academic year 2020-2021, the Faculty expanded its scope by introducing the Data Science program to meet the growing demand for data analysis and processing in the digital era. Continuing this development, from the 2021-2022 academic year, the Faculty launched two additional programs: Mathematics and Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, aiming to provide in-depth training in interdisciplinary fields and the practical applications of Mathematics.

 

      As of December 2024, the Faculty has approximately 1,493 students across various majors. Each year, around 350 new students are admitted, with the top 10% selected to join the prestigious Honor class, where they receive specialized instruction and guidance.

 

      Detailed information regarding admissions for each program is updated in the Undergraduate Admissions Information section. The undergraduate training activities strictly adhere to the university's regulations, including academic policies, with specific details available on the Academic Affairs Office’s website.

 

      Currently, the Faculty offers four undergraduate programs, providing a strong foundation in Mathematics and Computer Science to meet workforce demands in various scientific and technological fields. These programs are categorized into two cluster:
